Members of the Enawene Nawe tribe of Mato Grosso state travelled to Brazil's capital Brasília last week to demand that the government legally recognise a key part of their territory. This area is rich in fish, and is vital to the tribe's survival. It was left out when the Enawene Nawe's land was officially recognised in 1996.
