The government of the Indian state of Jharkhand has declared that tribal people from different parts of the state will be taken on tours to visit cities.
The idea behind the visits is to show the tribes what 'development' is in the hopes of integrating tribal populations into the 'mainstream.'
However, according to reports in Indian online newspaper Web India, the real reason behind the plan could be that the government is eyeing up tribal land for industrial exploitation.
